heavy fire has been knocked down at a home in roxbury on gadsden street. the call went into fire fighters just after 3:00 this morning. fire fighters worked quickly to put out the flames that started in the attic and moved to the roof. three people in the home got out safely. no word if anyone was injured. boston fire is on the scene an tweeting their about $400,000 of damage to the home. they are now investigating a cause. >>> also breaking this morning, a person has been hit by a car in brighton. the victim and a driver has been rushed to the hospital. on chestnut hill ave where this happened. good morning, jessica. >> reporter: good morning, daniel. boston police were out here for five hours investigating this morning. they just cleared the scene here about 30 minutes ago, but we understand that person was hit right along this stretch of chestnut hill avenue in bright chestnut hill avenue in brighton. close to where it intersects with union street. this all happened around 11:00. video from the scene right after it happened. police told our overnight ph

ginger gadsden is off. let's get straight over to news 6 reporter shaun chaiyabhat. he just finished watching the entire video into the newsroom. >> tonight we're getting the very first look at this dramatic it happened a little over a week ago on january 16th in orlando. but first, let's take a look at store security video. officers make a traffic stop on a stolen white charger at 5100 north lane. that's when the three suspects in the car tried to get away. it appears at one point officers tried to break the window but just does not stop the suspects. the car backs up and then tries to take off and here's what happens next from a different angle. one officer opens fire. this is body cam video from officer jonathan mills. you can hear them warn the driver and then the gunshots when the car comes right at him. >> police! park. put it in park! >> now, the officer shot the laymans who crashed into a vacant home but survived. he now faces felony charges for aggravated assault on an officer with a car. the two other suspects in the car got away, officer mills was not hurt
