i )m laura garcia. and i )m marcus washington. ad-lib toss to weather. we )re ttracking a highway closure we )re seeing a lot of damage in the santa cruz mountains. the storm leading to mudslides and bringing trees down. today in the bay )s kris sanchez is live near highway 17. kris -- we were at a dead standstill for a few minutes as chp here is the reason why. that mudslide that came down right around the midnight hour between midnight and 1:00 last night. it came down on highway 17, los gatos and bear creek near the cats restaurant. you can see caltrans crews were trying to clear that area. it did make some headway and we were just wrapped up in the last part of that cleanup this morning. but the big story here in the santa cruz mountains is going to be skyline road near summit. that's where a mudslide came down and shut down both lanestr. we have a crew that's shooting video. but it is so tricky, it's a hard time getting back from there. as soon as we get that video that will come to you hopefully at 4:30. >>>> thank you, kris
