correspondent garrett tenney is in louisville tonight with the latest, good evening, garrett. >> yeah, and police just walked us through that body camera video working on bringing in and going through so we can be careful with what we showed. learned new details of how the shooting unfolded. police say after the suspect shot his co-workers inside the old national bank, surveillance video shows him going to the lobby area and setting up an ambush waiting for officers to arrive behind glass that allowed him to see out but blocked police from seeing in. officers arrived within three minutes of the first 911 calls. and as two of them go up the front stairs towards the lobby, 26-year-old rookie officer nicholas wilt is struck in the head. moments later his partner officer galloway is hit by another shot. a minute or so later, other officers arrive. and when the gunman shoots out the windows to try to kill them. officer galloway who was shot then takes out the suspect. officer wilt remains in critical but stable condition after being shot in the head and three other victims are still being

garrett tenney has more from louisville. garrett? >> yeah, neil. us is old national bank where around 8:30 a.m., the shooting took place with the 23-year-old gunman entered inside. he worked at the bank. when he entered, you can see the blown out windows from where gunshots rang out with a rifle. we know nine people were transported to the hospital. five people were killed, including gunman. what we don't know is whether or not that gunman was a self-inflicted gunshot or whether it was the officers engaging him. we know the officers responded to the scene within three minutes of getting the calls. when they arrived, the gunman was shooting. as they arrived, one of the officers was grazed on his left side. the other officer was shot in his head. he's in critical condition. nicholas wilt, 26 years old, just graduated two weeks ago from the police academy. the nine other victims retreated, taken to the hospital, three of them including the officer remain in critical condition. three are listed in nine critical condition. another three have been treate
