garrett tenney is live this afternoon. garrett?ep, one bit of good news is police say they have not received any reports of people missing. they're feeling more optimistic now that there won't be any additional fatalities. that was a real concern. the flooding that hit this area in 2016, killed two people. the damage from this storm was significantly worse. now, the business owners are just getting their first look at the damage today. getting to come back in and they're finding thick mud across the main street of the floors of their businesses and walls are completely gone. i spoke to the fire department. they told me they're done inspecting the buildings. several of them are simply not structurally sound enough but they're going to allow people or first responders back in. they need to come in, stabilize the buildings before anyone can come in and do further damage assessments and recover any of their belongings. a lot of folks though are planning to rebuild. this is after doing that very same thing less than two years ago when t

our own garrett tenney joins us now with details. >> we have been talking for months now but the whiteaid that the trade talks went so well that they are putting the trade war on hold. that means the trump administration will not be imposing tariffs on chinese products while these negotiations continue but they can't -- can still decide to enact them later on depending on the deal they reach. the deficit last year was $375 billion, in the first round of negotiations, both sides agree to cut that by more than half but as these negotiations play out, the u.s. is also pushing china for help for north korea, fox news sunday treasury secretary steve mnuchin says that issue will not influence the trade talks. >> i don't think we are going easy on the trade talks at all. i think for the first time many presidents haven't dealt with this issue. president trump has dealt with this issue. he threatened to put 150 billion of tariffs, we have a good framework agreement that's not just about buying goods, it's about structural changes, it's about lowering tariffs. >> the white house is also pushing

molly: we have garrett tenney joining us reporting on all of this from washington. garrett, just what documents are nunes and the doj fighting over? >> well, molly, congressional investigators are looking into allegations that the obama administration abused surveillance warrants in order to spy on associates of the trump campaign during the election. now, the documents that they've requested contain classified information and they appear to be documents related to one specific unnamed individual. in a letter to nunes on thursday, assistant attorney general said after consulting with both the intelligence community and the white house, the justice department determined it was not able to provide the documents because quote disclosure of response of information to such request can risk severe consequences including potential loss of human lives, damage to relationships with valued international partners, compromise of ongoing criminal investigations and interference with intelligence activities. this is just the latest incident in what republican lawmakers have descri

garrett tenney has the details for us. >> planned parenthood fighting back against multiple efforts toit receives in federal funding. the trump administration is putting a greater emphasis on abstinence over contraception when it comes to federal funding for women's reproductive health care. earlier this year, the department of health and human services announced new criteria for the title x family planning grant program to favor religious-based organizations and hospitals over groups such as planned parenthood. the new criteria could cost planned parenthood tens of millions of dollars in federal funding. today there group sued the trump administration in an attempt to block the changes, arguing it would restrict access to birth control and reproductive health care for millions of women. >> our concern with these changes is that it would actually limit women's options and keep them from having the best health care available. in fact, in some cases, it even goes so far as to have the government pushing certain kinds of birth control over others. >> this lawsuit comes as president trump
