other tidbits about this year's competition, the winner here, 1985 pounds, as i mentioned, grown by gary millerf napa. that's 200 pounds heavier than last year's winner. what's also interesting about this year's competition, all the growers are from california. sometimes you have some from washington and oregon state. there's gary, the winner, posing with his winning gourd. what's interesting is the top three pumpkins this year all came from napa. . the top three were from napa. he's going to have his pumpkin on display at the half-moon bay art and festival this saturday and sunday. so come here to half-moon bay and see this. as far as tim is concerned, the guy who came in second place, he did not want anyone to break the world record. when he set the world record this weekend in morgan hill, he was guaranteed a $16,000 bonus if he keeps the world record after november 1st. if anyone were to break it before november 1st, he would have been out that money. clearly that did not happen here. this being one of the last competitions, he's pretty much guaranteed that money. second place leaves a happ
