i am the architect for the gas station. i am here today to introduce you to our project, the station's owner is also here, nick and his son, sonny. in addition, a transportation engineer is here. he conducted our traffic study and is available to answer any technical questions about traffic and i expect there to be some. before i take you through the project i'd like to thank planner doug vu. he's been great to work with and his comments through this process has made our project even stronger than it is. we started working on this project in 2010 when the goyals asked us to look at this aging station. it was under performing in a financial sense [speaker not understood]. my charge was to relocate the building, add a car wash and modern convenience store and to design a building that would stand out adds an example of green design on this prominent corner. it's important that you consider the owners are not planning on selling alcohol here. what we've come up with, and if i can show a graphic -- is there anything i need to do

i can show you a gas station there. big awnings and the wind will get underneath the awnings and what you're left with following the tornado is a lot of twisted steel, a lot of debris. also out of oklahoma city, a horse farm. about a quarter of this structure was collapsed. and you can probably see in the video, the horses are still wandering around, kind of bewildered. no one has been able to get into this horse farm and make an assessment to determine how many of the animals were injured. that's what's happening around here, all over oklahoma right now, people trying to get emergency crews, response crews in to determine the extent of the damage. the damage coming from just this remarkable confluent of storms on each other. have you the multivortex tornadoes caught on film. can you see one tornado forming, reaching down to the earth, scouring a patch of earth and retreating back up into the sky as another tornado is forming. absolutely remarkable. a kind of thing that doesn't happen very often, not even here in tornad
