gavin newsom will be in san francisco this morning to introduce a new gun control measure for next years ballot. his initiative contain several provisions that would require gunowners to turn in assault style magazines that have large capacity. gunowners would also be required to report lost or stolen guns and anyone wanting to buy even ammunition would have to submit to background checks. newsom will announce the measure at 10 o'clock this morning right outside 101 california st. where back in 1993 in armed man with assault weapons killed eight people. there is a new controversy surrounding san francisco's sheriff, we learned that back on september 18 he failed his firearms requirement at the shooting range. according to a department regulation anyone who fails the test has up to 21 calendar days of the original tell you date to take the test again. marker rini didn't do that in some deputies say that is disappointing. >> we are all required to go to the range. we are all required to keep up what we call perishable skills because our job, first and foremost, is public safety. >> is lega
