wow, is colgate okay, venezuela, i don't know about that general mills. what can you do? companies only report four times a year, so you don't know whether you're stepping into an unknown where those stocks are doing badly. but today fortuitously was not one of those days where we didn't know. see, we got earnings before the market opened from johnson & johnson, the gigantic health care company, and from the coca-cola company, the beverage king. when these earnings came out, i saw the headlines and found myself thinking, ah-ha, this market needed reassurance and those two headlines which showed a better than expected number for coca-cola and in line number from johnson & johnson gave us that. at that very moment i felt this market wanted to latch on to something permanent, something good, something stalwart, something strong, especially in light of yesterday's horrific action and terrible news. into the breach step these two masterful american companies. i didn't even want to know more than the headlines. i didn't want those facts to get in the way of a comforting story.

where warren buffet and an lbo comes along and buys a company, it lifts the other companies like general mills, because they're starting to say, hey, what's warren laooking at? he's looking at cash flow, so that's an important element. and when ge bought lufkin, it lifted the ship of related companies because of his, their commitment to go into shale and fracking. and so companies like weatherford, which we like, are an example of that. >> do you think we'll see more deal flow in that space, where weatherford is? where do you expect the most deal flow to lift these boats? >> you'll have a lot in the health care area. it's not an area which we have a very deep, strong core competency, maria, but we have individuals like jeff jonas and ken kendra working that area and we're finding good ideas there. but the economy, the clear path is housing, it's energy, and in addition to that, it's vendors to the boeing and airbus. if you're looking at a way to play india and china with a rising middle class and high propensity to travel, a high 1.5% to travel in boeing, and benders to boeing we like, like cu

but if commodity costs would come down as general mills says they will, as conagra says they will, wouldice ever come down? >> yeah, if they came down enough -- >> you would lower the price. >> yeah, if they came down enough, they would. in the near-term, you're not going to adjust the price around, either up or down. i think really around the commodities, six months out, a year out, then you're going to. if they move materially. so, you know, at the end of the day, if commodities come down, probably the price would move a little bit. they go up over time, you adjust it. >> because sauce is a big component, not the biggest. but tomato crop, if it's booming, maybe -- the sauce could come down. you did not list gasoline as one of the costs. >> gasoline indirectly i think is the most important. >> right. so therefore -- >> over time --. gasoline is down dramatically. will you see some sort of bigger gain than talking about the new year's day, which we spent a lot of time talking about, but i don't think it's substantive. >> it spiked up first. we had to get gas up to get it back down again.
