the dean of georgetown law school did that. ed martin just yesterday. like the prosecutors in new york did in resigning rather than dismiss the case against eric adams. those sorts of things make a difference. it makes a difference if there are organizations like democracy forward and l df and hrc and lambda and the aclu out there fighting. they have a lot of people supporting them. that makes a difference. it makes a difference if people are engaged on the ground in political actions. so groups like indivisible which was founded -- i hope some of you are members of indivisible. localized efforts by people who come together, started right after trump was elected the first time, to fight for our civil liberties and civil rights. the aclu has a people power which is similarly a grassroots effort to mobilize people around these sorts of issues. so we all have to be in this fight. there are many ways that we can be. going to town halls. i recently saw a number of people starting to go to town halls in red states, with red state politicians, calling them on
