ginger, what's the latest?ore than 700 miles from puerto rico but this thing is cooking at 20 miles per hour. and it will get to puerto rico which has a tropical storm warning by tomorrow afternoon. you could see more than 6 inches of rain with this. you could see winds up to 50 miles per hour. it skirts by the dominican republic and then it curves away from the mainland. we should not see an impact in mainland u.s. there is another big story this morning. look at these pictures out of houston. just north of houston, we had more than 6 inches of rainfall, so some flash flooding issues early this morning. now, they're starting to recover but that rain will be headed east, and so, if you are in lake charles, louisiana, shreveport, louisiana, both in the bull's-eye today into tomorrow, 4 to 5 inches and a bit more going back into the southwest. it is not just here but in the east coast where we've got big rain for the weekend. i'll be detailing that coming up in our nation's weather. >> soggy weekend coming up. >>
