rudy giuliani clearly played a central role here. he was recently asked about there meeting by investigators. we have been told. now his credentials to actually practice law are in serious question once again. what can you tell us about this? >> the troubles are piling up for rudy giuliani. there's a d.c. attorney committee that recommended that rudy giuliani be disbarred. this is a committee that was unanimous in its recommendation that he should lose hir law license in washington, d.c. that doesn't mean that's what's going to happen. there are a number of steps that need to take place before he would actually be disbarred in a place like d.c. they are talking about this because of what rudy giuliani did on behalf of donald trump, the litigation he signed on to. this committee points out that there just was not evidence of fraud to back up what rudy giuliani was putting in this litigation. as a sworn officer of the court, he deserves to be disbarred for it. >> hard to believe, america's mayor he was once called. look at troubles now

a political adviser for giuliani says that means, quote, giuliani did not acknowledge the statements were false but did not contest it in order to move on to the portion of the case that will permit a motion to dismiss. giuliani says he believes his comments are protected by the first amendment and refused to accept they caused harm to the women. here's what freeman and moss told the january 6th committee last year about the harm they say they did endure. >> there is nowhere i feel safe, nowhere. do you know how it feels to have the president of the united states target you? the president of the united states is supposed to represent every american, not to target one. but he targeted me, lady ruby, a small business owner, a mother, a proud american citizen, who stands up to help fulton county run an election in the middle of the pandemic. >> a lot of threats, wishing death upon me, telling me that, you know, i'll be in jail with my mother, and saying things like, "be glad it's 2020 and not 1920." >> were a lot of these threats and vile comments racist in nature? >> a lot of them were

giuliani is conceding to?tements about voter fraud or protected speech and denies that his statements damaged their clients. i mean, does that apply to his statement about them, you know, looking like people doing drugs? which is just such a bizarre, i mean, thing to say. >> well, i will go by what mr. giuliani said in his filings with the court. so, you know, the judicial process, the way civil litigation works is plaintiffs file a complaint, which includes several allegations. in our complaint, we alleged that mr. giuliani made false and defamatory statements about our clients, including that they, you know, hid illegal ballots in suitcases under the table to count, you know, fraudulent ballots that they excluded election observers, under false pretenses, that they passed usb drives. all of these statements were false and those are the factual allegations of our complaint. meanwhile, mr. giuliani, in the motion that he filed last night or the filing that he filed last night, said, quote, giuliani stipulates
