god.ut evidently he was -- his christianity was very emotional. and he was moved to tears by whitfield's sermon. but anyway. so that's really -- those are the sort of dramatis personae of the great awakening. what sort of effect did it have? one more quick thing about whitfield's rhetorical abilities. david hume, whom we saw earlier, who is as i said -- called an infidel, clearly an atheist, still traveled 20 miles in an era when that was a long trip to hear whitfield preach. he was so interested in what the man had to say and how he had to say it. and the great shakespearean actor david garrick said whitfield "could move an audience to tears just by pronouncing the word mesopotamia." so, you know, reading these old testament accounts. it's amazing, it's amazing. indeed, whitfield had studied the theater and put his sort of theatrical gifts to work. well, what is it that the great awakening does in religious terms? there are innumerable dedicated and rededicated lives. there are spiritual

thank god. i was wondering if you could share your insights as to why congress is still failing to pass real meaningful legislation and revamp the v.a. and take better care of our veterans? >> well, they actually tried to do some things previously, your senator marco rubio was one of the leaders in that. and i think what the president is doing, they have fired some people. they're bringing some accountability for those who have not properly served our veterans and the promises we made to our veterans for health care, for their service and risking their lives and health for protecting our freedom. i think he's making some changes. i do think the concept of choice where veterans don't necessarily have to go to a veterans administration hospital but can go to a private doctor or hospital that's closer to where they reside. i think they're making progress in that regard. so i think that's why i gave it a "b." i threw veterans in with military readiness as well, but i think they're making some change
