so first of all, what are you doing between now and tuesday to tip the scales in governor kasich's favor? and are you surprised that the race is so tight there in ohio? >> i think john kasich is going to win on tuesday and we had him here in the state. adequate couple great events today. he was in cincinnati where i am right now this morning with 1,000 or more people at a pancake breakfast. he did a couple of town hall meetings yesterday. one in the dayton area at a place called fuyao, where he has helped bring jobs back to america from china. there is another candidate who says he's going to bring jobs back. there is one who actually has done it and improved the lives of ohioans, hundreds of them, by bringing the jobs back here. it's been a great opportunity for us to showcase our governor and remind ohioans what they like about him and why they supported him so strongly in 2014 when he won an historic reelection winning 86 of 88 counties. >> absolutely. we know that governor kasich is well loved, well respected there in ohio. but again, are you surprised that donald trump is right on h

[ cheers and applause ] >> and now, my first question to you, governor kasich, is there a path for you to get 1,207 delegates or will it have to be a brokered convention, and if so, do you fear a ruptured republican party? >> first of all, we picked about half the delegates, and we have, of course, the other half to go. and there was this poll today, i think -- i can't remember if nbc, somebody -- trump was at 27%, cruz was at 25%, and i was at 24%, so it's really, really jammed and close. and you know, i think anything is possible this year, greta, that somebody could get there. it's possible, but probably not. and i don't like to get too much ahead of myself, because it's a process, but can you go to a convention and actually come out united? absolutely. you know, i was a mere child when reagan,

governor kasich is pretty popular right now in ohio but i did talk with some trump supporters at the rally and they said donald trump's message excited them more than kasich's did. i talked to one 19-year-old who said trump sounded stronger than kasich. it was a gut level decision for him to trump rather than kasich. >> hillary clinton and bernie sanders vying for votes before tuesday. tell me where each stands. >> hillary clinton was in the cleveland area in african american churches in cleveland. she spoke a lot about the economy, criminal justice, prisoner reentry, felt like cleveland had not yet recovered from the recession. bernie sanders had a pretty similar message, campaigned on toledo, ohio, and talked about the campaign, nafta and trying to link secretary clinton with nafta. trying to link blue collar workers in toledo. >> there could be surprises because of it. >> early voting is already underway, underway a few weeks, there are people who have already cast their votes and also people who are trying to make up their minds so there could be a dynamic there between which cand
