>> yep. >> seth: grammys. been, the most nervous before, or do you get nervous? >> well yeah. at times. sometimes i like to add a lot of pressure. a lot of times i always get the memo, especially from clive davis, jennifer, i need a rousing ending. and that means a standing ovation at the end. one time i had to sing for him. turns out i get there and it's like all the biggest music executives there. he gets me in the corner, "i need a rounding ending. you better get out there and give me a rousing ending." i'm like, "oh, my god, it's all these execs." and i went in to sing, and i almost gave my life for that song because the room went blurry because i was holding on to that note. [ laughter ] but i got standing ovation, y'all!
