we're going to go to greg dutra from our station, chicago station wls. who's in for ginger and greg, what you got for us? >> we're all in one storm out. we're rolling another storm in on the west coast. and not to mention, by the way, this one's not quite done with us just yet. still on the backside of that wind alerts that don't go into effect until 4:00 this afternoon. some gusts up to 50mph, but locally on the leeward side of not only the berkshires, but also into the worcester hills, 60 mile per hour gusts. and that extends all the way to downeast maine, which is that area just off to the east of bangor. now let's go from downeast to way west as the next storm system moves in, and a chance for showers and thunderstorms from san diego to la. la saw half an inch of rain yesterday. san diego saw about a quarter of an inch of rainfall, and they may hear some rumbles of thunder today, as this system does the whole cross country track thing yet again. it brings a few inches of snow all the way through the midwest, and while 1 to 3in not very much. i will sa
