in okinawa, we heard that 100 kilometer per hour gusts were recorded. it's really the rain from the system that has been bringing the most concern. for the last several days, places like the northern philippines and taiwan have been hit hard by the rains from trami, in the past week, you can see totals of 500 to 600 millimeters, really bad flooding across parts of northern philippines as well as taiwan. we were showing pictures earlier today. here are pictures from the philippines once again. this is 80 kilometers north of manila. floods have been submerging villages and making roads impassable. a month's worth of rain has fallen in a few days and the area is claimed a place of calamity. nearly 300,000 more have been displaced but are staying with friends and relatives. so this is in the philippines, which isn't even in the direct path of this storm. what it's been doing, enhancing the southwest monsoonal flow over the philippines as the moisture flows into the storm. all of this heavy rain has been impacting portions of luzon. we'll see more of that in

over the past three hours these are the top wind gusts, from concord to petaluma, up to 30 miles per hour, even san francisco getting in on the action. san jose, 22 miles per hour in the last hour and again, this is because of our cold front approaching the coast and you can see sustained winds down to the south bay, from 15 to 25 miles per hour. again, this is all because of that cold front that's hugging up against the coast and pushed a lot of that heat away from the coast. only 67 now in san francisco, and already places that were in the mid to upper 80s like livermore, concord, back to near 80 degrees. san jose at 75 degrees and again, the cold front pushing through, we're not expecting to see a lot of rain with this. we may only get a little drizzle up against the coast but that's going to be the main story as this cold front plows through. you can see over about noon a lot of the high thin clouds shrouding the bay. again it's not going to be a widespread rain event. maybe a little bit of drizzle here and there and another thing i want to point out you can see the rim fire on o
