bay area. there you can see much of california, that moisture has been streaming in from the south all morning long along lake tahoe, there are those lightning strikes, about 5 over the last two hours. we'll monitor that overnight tonight. we're seeing a lot of lightning over to the east of fresno. 17 lightning strikes as they move into the mountains. we're watching this line of showers. thankfully it's falling apart. we do need rain, but the threat with these showers is they come with lightning. we don't want to see any of these storms move into the bay area and bring threat of lightning. we're also watching moisture off the coast right now. this will likely move north overnight tonight and first thing tomorrow morning. this area of moisture would likely bring us our highest threat for isolated lightning strikes. we're watching the warm temperatures too away the coast. we're in the 90s 96, 91 in san ramon. here's the red flag warning. it's now in effect, lasting until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow evening from the north bay mountains and east bay tills and santa cruz mountains. as you get higher in elevation
