in hagerstown, it feels like we're at 90 degrees. no watches and warnings for the immediate area or for the state. they keep popping up here and there up to the north of us. we're seeing flash flood warnings for parts of pennsylvania in york and lancaster counties because of the thunderstorms. they're the pop up variety. what's happening is you have the heat and humidity. things just get more unstable and atmosphere can't hold it. you get the storms developing that go through and dump a quick quarter to maybe a half inch of rain wherever they land aand they cool down a bit. it goes on its merry way and pops up somewhere else. temperature huff wise, baltimore 77, but look at laurel. you can tell they just had a storm pass through. they are quite a bit cooler that be, say, annapolis, which is still in the 08s. what we're looking at for the satellite radar composite, we have the cloud cover this' built throughout the day and the storms start to pop up. then we have a little cold front that is sliding through in the overnight hours. that
