charlottsville, it'd be easy to get that to mention that yeah harvey gamer obvious reasons. he did in the city where you live, right? so, um harvey gann for people who may not remember he is he was first black student to integrate the clemson university and he he moved to charlotte in the 70s. he was elected to the city council in the mid 70s and in 1977. and 112 years after the civil war. there was a local guy and a group that wanted to put a confederate monument on the court on the on the grounds of city hall in charlotte. and as you know most of the times these things would have gone up without question and even though the monument actually did end up on the grounds of city hall harvey gann as one of the earliest members of the city council in the years after the voting rights act to pass. calls this into question. and and and he has a grasp of history. and what that history meant to him? he had grown up in charleston, south carolina. he was surrounded by the confederacy. it's charleston, south carolina. and the history that he learned was that in his and you know in the

the harvey. let's start this morning with a check of weather with erica caturay who has been definitely keeping us informed. erica, yesterday it was so windy and gusty, especially for the earlier part and into the evening. are we going to see wind conditions like we saw yesterday. today. >> today, not as high for wind speeds. that will a little breezy on and off but definitely not like what we've seen the last couple of days. in fact, we're actually going to see a little warming trend of this weekend. it should be dry for us in the bay area. but last night some of the rain that lake county got actually did trickle in to some parts of the bay area, especially the high mountain tops. fairfield had about a 10th of an inch of rain lena as well. a little bit of rain there and some snow dusting on the mountaintops of sonoma and of course lake counties as well. overnight. and that came from that system that we see on our satellite and radar here. you can see the snow in reno and northern nevada there. t
