what is going on with this area of low pressure that started out over the weekend down off of cape hatteras. this thing would normally move quickly across the region, however as you can see it's taking it's sweet old time throughout the day bringing heavy amounts of rainfall to the area. some places as much as three inches. most places have gotten about a half inch to three quarters of an inch. we'll show you the rainfall from our storm weather in a second. but the system is making it's way toward the north bringing heavy rain to northern pennsylvania and the finger area of new york. now on the larger picture, once the system gets out of here, some pretty decent weather sliding in. tomorrow we'll see cloudy skies around as we gradually move away. but there is a chance tomorrow afternoon we could see a pop-up shower across the area. right now the shower is in the process of falling apart and again the flash flood warning in affect until 8:30 for baltimore county and hartford county. and we have 59 in reisterstown. and chestertown right now 62. take a look at rainfall amounts. parkville, 0.03
