live in high ward tonight at one of the -- hayward where one of the crews are assessing power lines upon. >> reporter: you can see there is still a truck out here. they just finished repairing these lines above me. they were slapping together and sagging. what you can see is that they put in what are called spacers. those are hanging in the air in those lines to prevent them from slapping together. >> reporter: officials say violent wind gusts in hayward wednesday night caused these power lines to sag and slal together -- sag and slap together. when crews arrived on scene, they used flashlights to assess the damage. the utility company has been keeping track of wind-related outages in its emergency operation center. >> what this represents is our outage information system. it's a geographic electrical representation of our circuitry. these red symbols represent customer phone calls reporting outages. and this purple symbol represents a transmitter that has a mix of -- or we see smart meter power down alarms and customers reporting problems. >> reporter: they just finished repairing these

we have 61 degrees on tap for oakland, hayward, and redwood city and a touch cooler than that into hayward in half moon bay. satellite and radar does show clear and dry conditions over the bay area. the wet weather system that we dealt with yesterday has pushed its way closer to mexico. we will continue to see a dry weather pattern for the next couple days. you will see that on your extended forecast. we have upper fifties and low 60s to any of sunshine and dry and mild conditions as we head into the middle of next week. well up the incline and across the upper deck. checking out the san until bridge traffic is running pretty smoothly in both directions of highway 92. in fact this ride is just 14 minutes from end to end. as the ticket over to the golden gate bridge, we have very few cars on this stand. traffic is definitely moving at the limit. your entire ride is clocking at 24 minutes out of navato ports san francisco. we have new details in the investigation of two rapes that happen in the mission district on november 18th and december 8th. it happened a long 24 to street in the mission
