the hayward stop is different than the south hayward station, it's the end of the line this morning. we thought the investigation might be wrapped up but it's still affecting service for the start of the commute right now. we talked to bart. they are offering limited service to san francisco from the bay fair stop. south hayward is the only station shut downright now. they are also not able to run any shuttle bus services now between union city and fremont but you can use ac transit. all the buses are on time with no delay. all other mass transit looks good. in oakland it looks like this down towards the hayward exits no big delays right now on the roads. in fact, between 238 and the maze that drive time is still light, 15 minutes. i'm not seeing any roadwork across that stretch of freeway either. we are seeing some fog. lawrence will talk more about this. but chp issued its own fog advisory between pacifica and montera. so just a heads up if you are traveling highway 1. south bay commuters no problems on 101, 280 or the guadalupe parkway. here's lawrence. >>> a lot of moisture in th

how you get to south hayward and hayward? we're not sure on that. christie will be on scene. volume for 880, your alternate to the b.a.r.t. lines now, you see how light traffic flow is. look at map, from fremont at bottom of the screen, thornton station up past this arrow toward the south hayward station around highway 92, south of there. that's the area blocked off. hayward station, end of the line for the b.a.r.t. system, you have to take freeway or buses if they link up to the east bay. hayward north, jump on it the b.a.r.t. line. no delays for that part of the system. trains are linked in and a lot of the -- a couple of lines go through the area, so they will be affected for service. so far traffic on 880 and 580 clear. that is your alternate to drive across the bay. those lines are going along there b.a.r.t. lines for 24 and east shore freeway, moving smoothly. bay bridge, traffic, no problem heading from oakland once you get to that portion into san francisco. that's good stuff. talking about the weather as well, finding alternate transportation. >> right now getting of
