you can see the communities on the like healdsburg and windsor. but this is more notable for the small towns in the burn scar. places you've never heard of before like jim towner kellogg, or anybody on the slopes that don just showed us up close and personal. meanwhile, high definition doppler is on, were dancing on the thing on it yet. we are not seeing anything on it yet. it does look stormy out there. but that is our storm. a couple things about this and a very important reason why this woulde a concern for flooding in places like the kincaid burn scar. this storm will have another atmospheric river component to it. it was a good the water imagery, the bright line is a water vapor. it takes a higher concentration of water vapor in the atmosphere, there is a lot done in the tropics. getting pulled up into the subtropics and getting right at us. and, we scaled these things. just within the last year. the oceanographic institute has putting a number of these to help us gain a better understanding of what is in store or we could just put a label on

santa rosa is going down to 34 degrees tomorrow morning, not much better in healdsburg at 35. close to that as we look at the inland spot here for contra costa county, concord 37, walnut creek 36, but if we do the comparison for how much colder it's here for inland spots and temperatures for the bay, notice the difference? still cold but not as cold. you get closer to the bay, that moderating influence of the water helps keep temperatures at least a little warmer. the deeper you go into santa clara county, the colder it's going to get, 38 san jose, san mateo 41. as far as this rain, still have the storm just sitting here spinning to our south trying to throw a few showers our way. we took a look at that in detail at the top of the newscast. let me show you what happens next. it's going to stay like that the next few hours of once we've gotten into the 2:00, 3:00 hour, there's a few showers thrown up over the santa cruz mountains and maybe over the diablo range. by 9 a.m. it's difficult to tell here, i know, but that's the back edge of the clouds. we will have blue sky for a go
