heather?k you patti anne. >> as states move forward one state is having trouble meeting overwhelming new patient demands. fox business network diane macedo joins us with those details. good morning diane. >> the big question was how affordable will that care really be. now california has healthcare obstacle they don't have enough money to treat the influx of patients. the american medical colleges 16 of california's 58 counties has a recommended supply of primary care physicians and nearly 30 percent of the state's doctors are approaching retirement age. to combat that problem they want treatment and pharmacists and p optometrists to act as primary care providers. not just california the national conference of state legislatures say 350 laws expanding the roles have gone nationwide and 24 states launched more than 50 additional proposals since the start of the new year. supporters say those professionals mentioned have more training than allowed to use and often see patients that are easily di

good morning. >> good morning heather and heather. it is not clear whether this is called a twist or a major side show in the oscar pistorius case. the leading investigator now facing 7 charges of tame presidented murder. as you mentioned those charges stemmed from 2011. they were investigating a case of a woman who has been murdered dismembered and then disposed of in a sewer drain pipe. he was allegedly drunk at the time. when a mini bus forced him oa bs off the road or tried to stop the bus. the police officers fired shots at the bus. the charges were dropped and subsequently reinstated. what gets tricky is this was reconfirmed yesterday afternoon. the prosecution service says the position was taken between february 4th and 10th to reinstate the charges. that would have been before reeva steenkamp was killed. there are questions about the timing of all of this. oscar pistorius back in the courtroom today due to the drama of the tame presidented murder charges proceedings only getting underway now. the prosecuting attorney is saying

hey, amy. >> hi ainsley, hi heather.he prosecution is also saying they found unlicensed ammunition for a .38-caliber weapon in his home. also we heard from witnesses who say they heard screaming and shouting for about an hour before the shooting took place screaming and shouting of course coming from pistorius's home. another witness say he or she heard a gun shot and then screaming and then the other gun shot. pistorius claims she and his girlfriend reeva steenkamp were sleeping he went out to get a sand and went in and heard an intruder inside. feeling vulnerable because he claims he didn't have his prosthetic legs on he fired the door. prosecution says he put the time to put on the prosthetic legs and walk 20 feet from the bed to the bathroom where he walked shot through the door. these are two different xheling story -- compelling stories. the bail hearing continues. there have been reports today pistorius has a house in italy which may complicate the issues surrounding the possible r flight in this case. back to you
