in herndon the high is 91. in rock fill a high of 89. here is what will happen for most of the metro area, comfortably warm later tonight as temperatures drop will feel a little muggy. this. near hagerstown is a nice downpour but sitting north of the border for a couple of hours. is slowly drifting. that was the problem last night. it was that it took a long time to move a short distance. that is what is happening appear. we will have temperatures falling from the mid 80's to the upper 80's to the lower 70's. hagerstown has cooled to 79. the warmth is pushing back. the real hot and humid weather will come out of the south. 66 in asheville. a pretty good indication rain is the culprit there. look at these numbers in the 50's. the higher the number means it is very humid and that is what is heading back to our town as we head into the weekend. there are some showers cooling the air across the carolinas. that is a little area of high pressure trying to bill tomorrow and into friday morning. in the front will show signs of moving northward.
