two missing hikers from virginia neal peckens of herndon, virginia and jason hiser of richmond, virginia are due back home after they were located in the rugged back country of glacier national park in montana. the families of the two veterinarians reported them missing on friday after they failed to catch their flight home. rescue teams spent the next three days searching for them. it was terrible weather. there were high winds, limited visibility and lots of snow. but they were found about 4:30 yesterday in the national park. >> it's just a great feeling to know that they're out of the back country, that they're safe and their we with their families-- >> they're with their families. >> these pictures were taken shortly after the rescue. both men are 32 years old and married. jason's wife by the way is eight months pregnant. by the way, the two met at the virginia-maryland regional college of veterinary medicine and over the years they have taken several hiking trim -- hiking trips together. they were relatively experienced hikers. but something went wrong and rescue teams were sent out to look for them.

neal peckens of herndon and jason hiser of richmond went hiking in montana's glacier national park last week. they were reported missing on friday when they didn't catch their flight home. more than 50 rangers are searching the park's rugged snowy terrain tonight for the men. hiser's mother says she's finding strength in her faith. >>> rainy weather out there today for some of us. and we still could see some more tonight. storm 4 meteorologist doug kammerer joins us with an update. >> you look outside right now, across the city, some areas seeing sunshine. others now starting to see that rain move in. we have thunderstorms, too. currently 70 degrees with winds out of the south at 9 miles per hour. a few breaks in the clouds, especially east of 95. over the last couple of hours we've seen a few storms develop, loudoun county, montgomery county and now entering howard county and anne arundel. some of these are fairly heavy. the heaviest rain looks like it's in fauquier county and movinging in portions of culpepper and rap a han a county. we'll see a few areas of heavy downpours through the rest of the evening hours. could make things problematic on the commute especially
