people and their pets were out today in north suburban highland park to raise money for "the puppy millject". the event was called "miles for mothers in the mills".. and it was held at larry fink memorial park to benefit "the puppy mill project".. and to honor and remember the dogs left behind to breed in puppy mills. adults and kids brought their family dogs along for a leisurely walk in the park. there were various pet contests -- including a halloween costume contest.. and an "ask the vet" forum. it's called the "monster dash", but the costumes were more funny than scary. runners lined up in grant park's arvey field this morning for a combined five-k, ten-k, and half marathon. before the race started there was a costume judging and live music that continued through the day. while costumes are encouraged, race organizers urge runners to practice running in them before race day to prevent any nasty accidents. >> it is not halloween yet but a lot of people were in the mood for a scary movie this weekend >> paranormal activity 4 was the number-one movie in america this weekend. the lates
