fiona hines. >> can you hear me ok? >> we can hear you perfectly. >> good morning supervisors and clerk young. good to see you all. thank you for having me this morning. as chair row men mansioned and i'm i'll give you some recent information on me. i'll be brief and i'll also try to incorporate some responses to the questions that you asked manny. i want to thank the mayor for her nomination and tyra for believing in me and shep shepheg us through the process and for those who don't know me or haven't met me, my name is fiona and i currently serve as the director assistant at independent loving resource center which is a disability rights and advocacy organization. i oversee all of our policy work, including our transit work. i am a native san franciscan who lives in the outer richmond. my main form of transportation is transit. touching on some of the experiences that i have in the transit world, as i mentioned, i oversee our policy portfolios. that includes active work with the vision zero coalition and the senior di

student delegate hines-foster? i'm trying to keep as many brain cells as i have right now, keeping up with this conversation. i just want to make sure -- because i know that we're still talking about -- the issues and i just had a few questions that address the rest of the presentation so i'll just ask them now because that's the time. and mostly first for the survey, i know that a parent had and the majority of our focal groups. have any ideas came up as an adaptation to incorporate phone calls? i know that we talked about this a little bit yesterday to incorporate the phone calls in these surveys or home visits, you know, like census workers do, and if so, if there's an issue of people who, like the number of people who are able to do this, could people volunteer? that's a question. >> so, yes, earlier we said that we'll look at center office and look at ways of reaching out to the board as well as the office to see if there's opportunities to assist sites in making calls. >> what else was i going to say? yeah, i

. >> student delegates hines foster, almon sa, board of education o. commissioners, superintendent dr. matthews, principal dakota sweat and community at large. as shared by the members of lowell high school black student community, on january 20th, during an anti racism lesson, facilitated by lowell, students were asked to share their thoughts and ideas be a public platform called padlet, rather than follow instructions to share positive, constructive ideas. students posted pornographic images, slurs and other hateful comments. these actions were not committed in ignorance but they were sought to per pet situate antiblackness and white supremacy. as the governing body of the african american parent advisory council we write in solidarity with the lowell high school black student union and response to the abhorrent acts of racism and hate speech that occurred on january 20th, 2021. we denounce the perpetual behavior and responsiveness that has plagued this campus and this district for far too long. we support with the demands with our students for the s

jennifer hines. >> this is the leadership of the u.s. senate, the longest serving members of the senate in both parties. president pro tem -- i guess the outgoing -- chuck grassley and likely the incoming will be patrick leahy, another constitutional role in the succession line. >> it's a really important moment for the united states and also for the world. the world saw american democracy be truly tested over the last two months. the world is now watching as american democracy continues. there's former vice president dan quayle. >> but it's for that same reason that i think this is a moment of celeb celebration. >> inaugurations are a big day. all the pomp and circumstance you're seeing, these are traditions that go back pretty far in this country. for most americans, they only get to see it every four years. they're seeing it again today, even if spite of what we witnessed and experienced as a country in the last couple weeks. this is the process we're experiencing as a nation again. >> dan quayle held the job of vice president which j
