this is north wales stump road at horsham road. you meant to expect some areas to be slick but right now we're looking at the roads the main highways looking mostly wet. we're starting to get some reports of icy conditions. police are telling us here, skippack township, montgomery county. perkiomen creek road at meadow ridge sickle, watch for slick spots. the secondary roads you're more likely to see that. as you head out be prepared for that especially in areas north and west. we have an accident in plymouth township holman avenue at pastel rain. the blue route approaching the mid county tolls no problems between i-95 and the turnpike. because of speed restrictions, because of the weather 495 45. let's go to our commute traffic report. one thing i've noticed is a change potholes everywhere. pottstown pike, it's that time of the year. it's pothole season. waze is a good place to see all the conditions as you head out. storm tracker 6 live double scan is showing rain mostly along the i-95 corridor. the areas of blue ask an icy mix.

this is north wales stump road at horsham road.ople move okay but you can kind of see right here a little bit of ice left on the roadways so you need to be careful. we're finding that most especially in the intersections so just use that caution. i know i almost slipped walking in the parking lot. here's a guy out there doing a jog early this hour. you go. you're better than me. let's go to the maps. we had a problem here orville road icy conditions. crews were called out and things are getting better. they've salted the area so it's looking a little better here. just use a little caution there. chester county we had an accident involving a tractor-trailer here. it's on the shoulder on the turnpike eastbound near downingtown. it happened in the overnight hours so again just be watchful;, mindful of these slick spots here or there. an overturned tractor-trailer in east nottingham township chester county. 272 is closed between route 1 and 222. use kirkwood pike as your alternate. we are seeing some icy spots and we're seeing accident

and a little bit of coating on the roadway so it's enough to make it slick here on 202 parkway at horshamd in north wales montgomery county. we certainly have more in new jersey, so i'd be a little more cautious. of course we do have that travel ban still out there right now in new jersey. in lansdowne montgomery county we have church road and east main street, an accident here. we've seen a few accidents in, not a lot of people on the roadway so not a lot of accidents out there but a little slick some inn spots. on the vine street expressway here the road is mostly just wet many people seem to be moving just fine. i would just watch out for a slick spot here or there. that's the worst of it on your main roads and like here on the vine. we do have issues with mass transit and lots of them. new jersey transit remains suspended at this point with the travel ban in place. we'll have to see if that gets lifted and when but at this point there's still a travel ban and new jersey transit suspended. patco on a modified snow schedule. septa regional rails on a saturday schedule with no service to

we're looking at stump road at horsham road.be a lot of snow that you're driving through but you're driving through some of it. you see people moving okay. it's very light volume to start off but something to watch out for. in new jersey 42 is looking good. we're seeing people moving a lot slower. we've got some slush on the ground as well. the travel bans remain in effect in new jersey right now. in ocean township route nine is blocked and this is because of downed wires causing a problem here and of course along ocean that's one of the things we've been talking about in ocean county where you're getting things a little bit worse here. route nine is blocked near seneca boulevard. watch for downed wires causing a problem. garden state parkway is a good way around. that we have lots of issues with mass transit right now. we're still dealing with cancellations of new jersey transit. it remains suspended at this point so we'll have to see if that travel is lifted there. patco running on a modified snow schedule so patco is not runn

we can see those numbers a little better. 31 in chester springs, if you can see that number. 33 in horsham. these are barely either at or below freezing. this is a big factor in what happens to the rain when it falls. philadelphia now, good news 34 degrees. not too long ago, we were at 32. 35 northwest philly. 36 kenneth square. and now through the lehigh valley, some of these numbers have gone up a degree but they are still either at or below freezing. these numbers are very critical in what is happening when the rain falls. south jersey and delaware these numbers are in the 40s. we won't worry about freezing conditions where we see numbers in the 40s. but it is a first alert weather day. if you are tuning in, we have ice on the roadways, dangerous driving. this is rain freezing on contact. right now we have most of this north and west of the i-95 corridor. however, the rain moved in earlier this morning and temperatures were below freezing, so we have icy spots regardless if the temperatures were 2 degrees below freezing, 1 degree above freezing. now it's going to turn a little slushy an
