we're waiting for the house financial services committee hearing.e are waiting for a potential press conference out of new york as well. the dollar was already under a little bit of pressure as a result of the cpi data. let's kick it around a little more and figure out what's happening here. our economics and policy correspondent to discuss. mike, this was a softer than expected number. this is still a relatively high number, but it does give the fed a little bit of breathing room. does it give them enough room to think about 50/25 rather than 50 flight -- 50/75? michael: not for tomorrow. it is locked in. the question for wall street tomorrow is going to be, what did they say about what happens in 2023? we are starting to see a move lower in inflation, much faster than had been anticipated by most people. not by everybody who uses bloomberg, but i will get to that in just a second. goods prices continuing to slow. disinflation there. services prices up a little bit, but a lot of that is still housing. housing was up 7/10 for owners equivalent rent.
