the prosecutor who revealed this yesterday in response to a question i asked at the hudson institute is jose grinda. he has spearheaded multiple investigations for years into russian organized crime in spain. in 2013 he added investigation into a suspected russian mon moneylandmoney launderer. and he picks of a conversation with torshin, a close al lie of vladimir putin. and on the wiretaps he refers to torshin as his godfather. there was discussion of a hotel, suspected repository for money laundering. and potorshin was planning to ce to spain in mayorca. all during the period and following it, torshin is flying in and out of the united states, forming alliances with conservative activists and groups. he goes to the annual cpac meetings outside washington and in 2016 he was attempting to broker a summit between then candidate donald trump and vladimir putin himself. he was never able to pull that off, but he did have a meeting with donald trump jr. at the nra convention in louisville in may of 2016. >> you're at the hudson institute, you talked to jose grinda. he said mr. trump's so

new york has a large agricultural sector in the hudson valley. and new york is promoting this idea of going to the farm, you are going to be close to nature, and there is something past -- agrarian traditions, that we are going to be able to be at one with both the countryside, and the earth. and this will give us a respite from ethical and moral sensibilities. and even though new york is really urban, it has a large agricultural industry, which is important both for agriculture and for tours. -- and for tourism. they have high direct to consumer sales, which means they care about this idea of localism. they make a lot of money saying, our farms are local. these are small farms, these are not big california agriculture, this is not florida. we know our workers, small farms. so this is how new york is different. so the question is, who is working in new york? who are our workers in new york state? and the first answer is the jamaican guestworker program. i talked about the bracero program ending in the 1960, but that doesn't mean the program -- th
