along with the help of the san francisco ice theatre, we're going to talk about what the ice rink does for the community, so stay with us. that's what we're going to show today on our show. and as we said, we are here to celebrate the ninth anniversary for the safeway holiday ice rink. joining me is christie yim joined by her daughter jamie. >> thanks for having us. >> give us an idea for people who aren't that familiar with the rink, ninth anniversary, how did it start? >> we started the ice rink nine years ago when the b.i.g. asked us to build an ice rink to create union square as a more fun and festive holiday location. >> and how small was it or is it about the same size? >> it's always been the same size. >> you have kind of kept it that way deliberately? >> we have. we would love to expand it but with the tree, the holiday tree, we can't. we don't have the space. >> expansion in san francisco is difficult anyway, right? >> yes, it is. >> for jamie and other children, very accessible, right? and you're trying to keep it that way. >> yes. we do it to expose anyone and everyone to t

, why not i actually make something i call cauliflower ice cream? yeah, ice cream. so what we need to do is actually cut our cauliflower into florets, and the reason that we're gonna cut this into florets is that we're gonna steam this head of cauliflower, it's important to steam this, because you want the cauliflower to be tender so it turns into a really creamy, delicious cauliflower ice cream base. now, into our blender we're gonna put some of our steamed cauliflower in. so that's about half a head of cauliflower. and the next thing you need is something called soaked cashews. now, don't go to the supermarket looking for soaked cashews. that basically means that you take raw cashews and soak them in water. the reason that you do this is that it tenderizes it makes eating nuts a lot easier too so we're gonna drain this, dump this right into our blender. now we've got the cashews in there, what you want to add is some coconut milk, about 1 1/2 cups, 1/4 cup of coconut oil. we need a little bit of good fat. in it goes. now we go in to vanilla beans. i think it's wor

don't put ice directly on the skin. put an ice pack. you can actually freeze the skin. you can get little first aid stores. they will have ice packs in them or make your own. put a towel down against their skin and put the ice pack on it for 15 minutes. if it seems swollen and they can't walk definitely take them to urgent care or the e.r. if there's an obvious break or their body part is deformed or the bone is sticking out call 911 at that point. if you try to put it back in place or move a severely broken bone you can cause more damage than goo stuff like that to help on the way to the hospital. >> michelle: let's get to these real quick. talk about the choking thing. we have 30 seconds. >> if you do get a burn run it under cool water for five to ten minutes. don't put it in ice water. that is the bad thing -- worst thing you can do. if they get blisters or anything, take them to urgent care or e.r. to make sure they can get the treatment for it. >> michelle: don't put ice on a burn. >> do not. run it under cool water. you can submerge it in cool spiders or bugs. if
