at last check when we were there, their daughter had actually been trying to fight traffic off of ignacio coming from oakland to get to the scene to see what was going on. she had been looking on her video surveillance from her home to see the flames and the smoke surrounding her home and that's how she was made aware of what was happening right outside of her door. now, her home was threatened among at least a dozen other homes in the area. we're learning that one home was completely engulfed in flames. the fire marshal says another structure has burned but they are working to find out whether or not that was a home but again, at least a dozen homes are still threat end at this time. but robert and irene harris were telling us that their daughter and her husband had been trying to do some work around the home to prepare for this. here's what they had to say. >> they have been cutting down all the pine trees and all the stuff just because of this. >> oh, look at the black cloud. oh, my god. >> reporter: all afternoon we have been seeing heavy thick, black smoke along the hillside there wh
