let's get back to that traffic alert with mike inouye. >> specifically a sig alert.ans chp thought it would take half hour or more to clear that from the lanes. look over here. this is what we're seeing from the chopper. that someone of the shuttles. the initial reporter was a motorcycle verses a bus. that sound dramatic. it sounds like the motorcycle, whatever was involved, was cleared from the scene. that shuttle might have been what was involved as well. looking at the slowdown. the middle lane is blocked. two lanes blocked to the left and just your right lane is getting by. this is at the interchange southbound 101 at silver. it's backed up from 280 all the way back toward cesar chavez. look at the lanes as folks are trying desperately to get out of the city and toward the peninsula. this may make things easier. it is making things easier through millbrae and past the airport and through san mateo county. there's the big backup. here we have all the red stretching southbound out of san francisco where we already traditionally have a build at this time. 280 will g

that's why we have our own mike inouye to guide us in the morning. >> so far no reports of whiplash or any accidents or crashes through the tri-valley. this slowing we saw for 580, that has cleared both directions. right around the isabel interchange we're slow. the volume is building there as well as coming out of the altamont pass westbound through livermore. also isabel toward vallecitos. it's mild, just about the 10%, 20% below the speed limit as you get toward the orange section. we expect congestion right around there. looking to the south bay, a smooth flow of traffic in your northbound direction, all your commute directions. south 880 towards stevens creek. just like your typical schedule, up through palo alto, a smooth drive for the speeds across the dumbarton bridge. live look out there shows you 101 moves nicely as the sun starts to come up, a good number of taillights. but at the limit for 101 and 280 between the city and the south bay. ending in oakland with a nice easy drive northbound. the earlier crash has cleared from the chp incident report and no problems in through
