well, focused on those 5 institutions. we've been doing it for some time here in california, like you just mentioned, what are some new factors that they're going to have to consider if they can explicitly use race. >> i think similar to the ways in >> universities look you know, talent for musicians who may bring that may bring to it to a campus as well as athletic ability. we also have legacy admissions, people who are the descendants or relatives of people who are alumni, for example, or donors and other people. and so just as you try to assemble, you know, class people who are going to future leaders, you can consider people's knowledge base and their technical skills as well as the experiences that they bring rain. and so i think that these are the things that many public institutions have done. there are 9 states that are forbidden through voter referendum to race as a factor in admissions. and so this has been done. and and in a way, you know, i mean, there there are some pathway is 4 for institution to go forward.
