i think intel does matter.conductor index versus the s&p, it's a very good indicator. last year the sox tracked the s&p 500 practically perfectly, what's the biggest component? i think it's intel, i think intel matters if for no other reason than it's a good indicator where the markets are going. i think intel does matter and the strength of the semiconductor industry matters an awful lot. meanwhile where is the growth? that's what we want to know about. i've been mentioning europe. i want to hear comments on how europe was doing because they were very cautious in the prior quarters. jeff immelt said we saw good conditions in growth markets. strength in the u.s. and a mixed environment in europe. i call that modestly bullish. did you see what schlumberger said, the overall global economic outlook continues largely unchanged with fundamentals continuing to improve in the u.s. and are rope seemingly set for stronger growth. let's say modestly bullish overall, still not strong commentary but generally good things.

what do you think about earnings in intel?ooking at an implied move on earnings of around 5% for intel. and that's very interesting because on average the stock moves less than 3%. it's not really a high flyer on earnings. however, we've seen a lot of options activity across a lot of different expirations going into this report. one of the most active lines is the march 28 call line. we've seen huge blocks of calls being bought. earlier this week i went ahead and bought those with them and it's already been a very profitable trade for me. i think from a risk management perspective staying long those calls through the report is probably not the best move for me so i will be looking to exit them sometime ahead of the number. the stock has come up quite a bit since their last report. it's up 21% over the last 12 months but 13% since their last earnings report. i think it could find sellers if the number comes inline with expectations or is not as good as people are expecting. >>thank you james. we will be watching. >>thank you. i
