jackie sissel is live on the scene. >>jackie: one person just put up a sign that said it this is oscar grant plaza. they are also protesting corporate greed. yesterday, hundreds of protesters, in solidarity with occupy wall street that started about a month ago. and occupies san francisco started about two weeks ago. here in frank ogawa plaza in front oakland city hall, dozens of protesters are protesting everything from corporate greed to wall street greed, you saw the sign that said oscar grant. a number of causes. there is no one is centralized caused to unite them other than rage against the status quo. they say that 1 per cent is controlling the 99 percent. for right now, it is very peaceful. they seem to be extremely well organized. they have tents set up out here. they look like they are in it for the long haul. right now everything is a relatively quiet. >> darya: take a look on left, that is video out of boston. police arrested about 50 protesters last night from the occupied boston movement because they ignored

jackie sissel is live in oakland with more. what exactly are they mad at? >>jackie: it is very similar, it is actually a brother protests to the occupied san francisco and occupy wall street. corporate greed, wall street greed, a lot of different causes. as you can see, there are dozens of tents set up out here in front of oakland's city hall in frank a call-up plaza. we have a video from is a day when the protests started. hundreds of people took to the plaza yesterday. they were protesting just about everything imaginable from corporate greed to wall street greed, union causes and as i said, this is pretty much a solidarity protest to the protests that you have seen popping up around the country. you have seen occupy wall street and the san francisco protests in front of the federal reserve bank. that has been going on for over two weeks. in oakland, they are planning to stick this out for the long haul, for the foreseeable future. you can see them setting up tents. they have a media center and kitchen set up. they are not going anywhere. so far, it has be
