i want you to read james baldwin when you're stuck and listen to john coltrane when you're not in in the moment was like none of that is helpful. what i what i would love is some prompt to go right but it ended up being helpful in long run i mean reading baldwin is is it's just it's searing moral clarity you kind of you get out of the mealy nature of washington and it's just this is right this is wrong it's like a hot knife through butter and that can be really inspiring. and then coltrane, i'd never really listened to and. it's just this free form jazz that when you're listening it, you kind of think, all right, i can go in any sort of direction here. so yeah, it was it interesting advice? yeah. yeah. and what i think it reveals when read that when i read about that what it in my mind is that that there's some art here, right. that this isn't just about the mechanics of putting words together, but there is some art about the emotion that we want to inspire in people who are listening. that's very true. i mean, to deliver a speech is not just reading words on a page it's a performanc
