janelle burrell is live with more. janelle. >> reporter: well, mary, that teen is the fifth and final suspect who they are looking for in this case. now, as for the other four teens in custody some of them are claiming to police that the encounter with the victim was consensual. the allegations in this case are just so serious all of them are being charged as adults for rape as well as sex abuse. now we want to show you the surveillance video that helped lead to their arrest. police say it was recorded shortly before the alleged attack last sources tell us that the 18-year-old victim admits to drinking in a brownsville park with her father. police say the group of teen boys approached them, pointed a gun at the father ordering him to leave. when he went to get help the teens took turns raping the 18-year-old. community leaders now demanding that the fifth and final suspect surrender. >> we want to tell that individual who is out there that we will not rest as churches, as community leaders until he is apprehended and f

janelle tells us how the we've been following breaking news all morning. a fatal crash shut down 275 in both directions overnight. between apex there at 75 and bearss. it has reopened. so both directions are open now. this is video taken a little earlier. semi truck slammed into the back of a disabled van that was just kind of stalled there in the middle of the interstate in the southbound lanes. it burst into flames sending it in the opposite lanes there. that is why the entire interstate was shut down. there's the semi truck there. the driver of that disabled van was killed. the semi truck driver expected to be ok. but again right now 275 is back open. you can see it here on one of the fdot cameras. this camera positioned just north of bridleton way, both directions moving smoothly right now. here's a live look at i-4 heading into downtown tampa. traffic starting to build as the morning rush hour pushes on but for now no crashes or breakdowns on i-4. checking the way back at county line road -- >>> let's check with action air 1 who just arrived at an acc

janelle, what is going on with you? >>> we have an accident, actually happened late last night but look at this, the car took out some power lines. so we have some wires in the roadway. this is completely blocking south 50th street, closed right at 17th avenue south. this is just south of the selmon expressway. so a lot of activity out there. you definitely want to avoid this area if you can. corey dierdorff just arriving on the scene and is going to try to find out more information and hopefully tell us when this road will be back open. here it is on the map. south 50th street closed now at 15th avenue. work your way around this by using south 56th street, there's other options for you as well. either way just avoid this, it's also highway u.s. 41. i will let you know as soon as it clears. let's look at the interstates. looking great at the polk parkway along i-4 so if you're heading out the door in the tampa you should have no trouble making your way in. let's check drive times. >> it's still in the green, let's hope

but you know, janelle, that means tomorrow morning's commute might get a little busy for us. but at least for this morning things are looking pretty decent. are you seeing any issues out there just yet? >>> yeah i've been checking the traffic cameras along the interstates, you might run into some construction in fact that's where corey dierdorff is right now right at dale mabry and 275. you can see the construction signs still out there. northbound dale mabry down to one lane right now right underneath the interstate and of northbound from 275 to dale mabry closed right now. pretty typical. they've been doing that for most of the week. that project usually wraps up by about 5:30 in the morning. we'll keep our eye on it and let you know when that opens. behind me here, here's what it looks like on the howard frankland. this is the tampa side of the bridge, again no crashes or breakdowns to tell you about. let's check your drive times on some of the major roads in our area. starting off u.s. 19, this is southbound from tampa road to east bay, 12 minutes. 18 minutes in the green

janelle martinez joins us now with the workarounds. this is a very busy stretch of road. >> it is, around the usf area, va close by. your alternates pretty well known here. you can take 50th street to fowler and get to 275 that way. both those streets moving pretty good now in the green but as this morning commute picks up we could start to see some congestion on the roads. i'll keep an eye on it and let you know if we do start to see that congestion and how to get around it. elsewhere in the bay area we are just getting a report of a crash i-275 southbound around busch boulevard. i can't see the crash here but i am seeing some backups here, this just came in seconds ago so we'll try to figure out more about that but we are hearing from fhp there is some roadblock here. as you can see traffic is starting to back up so i'll keep an eye on that as well. make sure you're following me on twitter at tampabaytraffic for the latest on both crashes. as far as the veterans we're in the green, looking great, 18 minutes from 54 to 275. and six mi

so janelle, what is going on now? >>> i think most people heading out now won't have any trouble unfortunately, we have a fatal crash in gulfport. corey dierdorff is on his way there, on 22nd avenue south trying to get there to bring us the latest information. all we know, one person was killed in what we believe is a single-car crash so we don't know if someone was killed that was in the car or possibly a pedestrian. he's heading that way and he will find out all the details. i want to show you what we're talking about, on the map, in gulfport, 49th street at tangerine avenue south. i am seeing some slowdowns on 49th. you might want to consider taking 53rd street south just to avoid this area. obviously since it is a fatal accident there is a lot of activity out there. so just avoid that intersection if you can. you have a lot of options of surrounding streets to avoid that intersection. we'll keep you posted of course. the only incident i found on the interstates. area on i-4, in the eastbound lanes not causing any

janelle, good morning. >>> good morning. we're watching this construction project that has northbound i-275 closed from kennedy all the way to dale mabry. you can see it starting here. this is just as you come up the howard frankland bridge. cars being detiered to candidate. you have to get back on at himes. be aware you can't get on i-275 at dale mabry or westshore. you have to get on at himes or even howard. there's another construction project happening overnight tonight and really overnight through thursday morning. southbound 275, the ramp to memorial highway is going to be closed so what you're going to have to do is make sure you get to take spruce or even cypress back to memorial highway or if you're trying to get on the veterans. this could cause problems if you're trying to get to the airport, make sure you make that detour on to westshore otherwise it's going to take along time to get around that construction project. checking in average speeds. all looking good, no crashes or breakdown to tell you about. >>> 5:18
