in alameda, janna katsuyama, ktvu, channel 2 news. >> new at 10, the results of a crucial vote by san francisco muni operators, the union members have rejected a contract offer. the muni operators voted 2-1 to reject the tentative agreement their union leaders have recommended. the directors of the municipal transportation agency says he is very disappointed. an arbitrator will now step in and negotiate a contract that can happen as soon as next week and the arbitrator's decision would be final. here are some of the elements of their rejected contract. muni said it would have saved $38 million over the next three years. operator salaries would have remained at their current levels. management would have been able to eliminate built-in overtime and the contracts would also have revised grievance and disciplinary procedures. >>> new details emerged today about a person of interest in the disappearance of bay area missing student michelle lee. the 26-year-old disappeared on may 27th. hayward police considered the case a homicide. officers initially questioned a former female roommate of
