japantown and ayer stations, check the schedule before you use light rail for the next four days. everything else for mass transit is on time. caltrain, ace train, everything good. and the rest of bart is moving along no troubles this morning. metering lights are on but it is quiet. traffic is maybe backed up in the bay bridge mostly in the cash lanes beyond the first overpass. overall traffic looks pretty good on all approaches to the bay bridge. it is "friday light" through here. in fact, most of your delays today are going to be this afternoon. a lot of people head out of town for spring break. you have easter sunday this weekend so enjoy it while you can. if you can hit the roads early it is probably a good idea as opposed to this evening. last night significant delays at the bay bridge. they extended to 10, 11:00 last night. we are seeing extra volume on the northbound side of 880 as you work your way into downtown oakland. the good news though, our drive times are stil good. northbound 238 to the maze, 16 minutes. no troubles there. southbound not too bad. traffic still clea

and how i got there were the citizens from san francisco from candlestick park all the way to japantown, every block, every neighborhood this sense of we have to take care of ourselves. there were folks out there directing traffic and such. part of that was the amazing and i call it the seed for nert because part of that as well and this is a san franciscan talking. there was a lot of folks in that neighborhood looking for help in that direction at the marina high school backyard so to speak. the birth of nert was invented. i have seen this organization grow from that personal experience. i just wanted to thank all of you for all of your work and the comprehension of this program. >> thank you, commissioner. >> thank you, commissioner nakajo. chief white? >> thank you, i want to thank you for your sentiment. i was very proud of the work that went out with the earthquake. i was the one who hand picked the lieutenant. it's more than just a job to her. she really lives and breathe the nert program and the messaging that the community that a good responsible citizen is for the community. i
