so miss newbold is giving us some more reasons why jared kushner was denied. what veelse have you learned? >> miss newbold testified last weekend for hours before the house oversight committee, and she described in some detail the pressure that she felt under and the extent of the denials that she and a colleague in the security clearance processing office had issued, for individuals she described in the documents that were first released as white house official 1, white house official 2, and white house official 3, as you just mentioned. we now know that white house official 1 was jared kushner and that she had expressed multiple reasons for concern about kushner, but her recommended denial of his security clearance was overruled by her superior in that office. >> and kelly, what does the white house say? >> reporter: well, they refuse to really talk about the security clearance process. jared kushner himself was interviewed and he said that he's been accused of a number of things that turned out to be false, but he did not directly answer this. i happened to
