the l a times return to the three month old story by investigative journalist jason helps. i keep gaining his story he had had time to be tell how occidental college had allegedly botched federal requirements to report sexual assault campus. i knew had been quoted as saying that there have been as many as five break ins on campus related to his sources the line on that for me. so jason childs used eleven sources at least at occidental college eleven sources that i know of. i know where to source has numerous stories that he doesn't often co authored with jason song. and i yes indeed. five of break ins have occurred with sources on all members of the anti sexual assault coalition. all federal complaints. i guess it is. are we looking at an effort by the university to break into the top of this and feel information from people who are his sources and in effect forcing the story and especially of a job. well i have my personal opinions about the matter and we do know what the facts that we do now. i read that the college hiring a pr firm specifically because of its connection

for more, i'm joined by "wall street journal" columnist, dan henninger, jason reilly and colin levi. colin, you wrote about this for us. the opinion was really splintered. a lot of opinions, different points of view. what should our viewers -- what should be the main takeaway from the opinion? >> right. the main takeaway here is that the justices got to the right answer. but they got there by the most incremental means possible. they found that states can ban racial preferences without violating the constitution, but as you said, it took them five opinions and 102 pages to do it. so it's pretty clear this opinion is not going to be a clear guiding light going forward. >> but very clear this opinion did not say that racial preferences are unconstitutional. in fact -- >> yes, justice kennedy was very, very clear to say that, and wanted to make sure this was a very narrow opinion. >> so it boils down to basically the people can decide whether or not they want to ban them, or allow the universities to -- and government to implement them. but it's up to the public, people and through refe

david: jason what about the people you hire for this project?t is one of the most important things about starting a new business. how can you hire somebody in just a short span of time, particularly the right person? >> sure. when we were doing 52businesses we were able to utilize venture for america, they obviously vet their people extraordinarily well. we had the great opportunity to work with some of their people. locals who are interested in working with us personally as interns. and then for businesses that are coming in, we make sure that they have looked into the people that they want to hire for their first, for their first as well. david: you say local, you guys are in new orleans. new orleans is nice place. everybody is so helpful. i know a little by the new or liens. even your competitors help you out in new orleans. say you come to a place like new york which can be pretty cutthroat. it is a very different environment. how will you make the switch? >> sure. >> that's a good question. i think we're all about kind opy and helping other
