jeanette reyes is live at southwest detectives with more on a rough night out there. good morning, jeanette. >> reporter: good morning, tam, police are saying these were all young teenage girls it started with a fight and ended with one girl's hair set on fire and another narrowly missing serious stab wounds. the attack happened at 46th and market. the three suspects and victims between 13 and 16 got into a fight outside the station. the 16-year-old victim ran to the station to get some production from the group of girls. that's when the teens followed her pinning her to the ground and assaulted her. >> the young lady pulled a can of hair spray out of her bag and lighter and ignited the hair spray with the lighter which catches fire burned her hair and the back of her neck. >> reporter: police say that wasn't the only victim. the girl's 13-year-old cousin was attacked this time with a knife. >> the knife was dropped and the jacket had numerous slash markets, thank god she had a heavy jacket on, because the knife never penetrated. >> reporter: the first girl was taken
