jennifer davis is covering this story tonight and joins us live from fairfax with the latest. >> reporter: fairfax county's fire chief issued a statement saying he is saddened by this news and while we wait for more information, his thoughts and prayers are with nicole mittendorff's friends and family and of course her fellow firefighters here at station number 32 where a memorial remains in her memory. and a candle lit in her honor continues to glow. now tonight virginia state police officials tell us they do believe the remains of a woman found inside the shenandoah afternoon are indeed mittendorff's. they say there is both digital and physical evidence that includes what they describe as a suicide note that was found in her car. as a result they say they do not suspect foul play. a teen made the discovery about 2:00 this afternoon in a remote location. it was more than a mile from the white oak canyon parking area where her car was found. her body was found 300 yards from the trail in treacherous rocky terrain. on a facebook page called find nicole that more than 18,000 people are foll

davis has the story. >> reporter: she is a beauty queen turned potential convict. >> mrs. america. >> reporter: the former mrs. america, jennifer susan klein, seen here competing for mrs. world, could serve up to 10 years in prison after allegedly making more than $5000 worth of fraudulent returns. minnesota police say the self- proclaimed beauty and style expert who regularly posts social media photos promoting products spent thousands of dollars on designer clothes at macy's back in november. then about a week later, went to two different macy's locations to return the clothes, and collected a $5500 refund. the problem? a store employee says klein >> the tags were taken off and placed on to clothes that looked similar, but were not the same name brand. >> reporter: according to the police complaint, macy's also said the clothes that were returned were dirty and showed signs of wear. >> there was more than just grab the merchandise and walking out the door. there was a lot of thought put into this, a lot of effort to conceal it. >> reporter: klein, seen here in a local paper's version of the real housewives of the twin cities
