. >> and they are no stranger to scares like this one. 11 news reporter jennifer franciotti is live at the dutch village apartments with the story. good morning, jen. >> good morning. of the nine people transported yesterday evening, two were adult women and seven were children, including one as young as 18 months old. according to baltimore city fire officials, the cause seems to be a faulty water heater. high levels of carbon monoxide were found inside the town house. 400 parts per million in the air. just two doors down high levels were also discovered. not dangerous enough for an evacuation, but crews replaced the water heater as a precaution. neighbors say this isn't the first time something like this has happened. just last month three patrons suffered carbon monoxide poisoning and even more got sick at the complex in essex owned by the same company as dutch village, sawye r sawyer reaty. >> do something about it. somebody die before they do something about it? >> cording to baltimore city -- according to baltimore city fire officials there was a detector inside the town house bu

jennifer franciotti joins us live from outside city hall with the latest. >> good morning. in the time since some of the previous charges were dropped her ex-boyfriend cut a plea deal and it is speculated some of the new information is coming from him. the indictment gives very specific details concerning items developer ron lipscomb gave to dixon when they were dating from fur coats to thousands of dollars in cash. we asked the mayor if she was concerned that lipscomb, who cut a deal with prosecutors, may have provided prosecutors with this information. >> do you feel any different this time around considering the circumstances and where the prosecution supposedly is getting the information from? >> i feel no different. again, i'm just staying focused. >> the indictment says dixon never reported the gifts that lipscomb gave to her in ethics filings because it says lipscomb was doing business with the city at the time. the new indictment like the old one claims that the mayor stole gift cards meant for poor families. >> do you feel you did anything wrong or is it a misunder

jennifer franciotti live in lutherville with more. >> some passengers are now starting to come forward with claims that they were on the train that may have hit the two teenagers. the discovery was made on sunday afternoon not far from the lutherville train station on the southbound tracks. a fare inspector made the discovery and we now know who the victims are. connor peterson and kyle wankmiller were on the tracks and officials say it is possible they were hit by a trane. passenger stephanie ayers believes she was on the train that hit the boys. >> it was like a thud, thud, thud. hit what we thought was a large dogers a deer or somebody. i thought it was like my gosh, was that a person. >> ayers says the driver got out, looked around, made a call, got back in and continued to drive the train to the station. coming up at 6:30, what else ayers said she saw and the latest on the investigation. >> late yesterday another incident involving an m.t.a. light rail car disrupted service. authorities say a train car struck a pickup truck trying to cross an intersection at conway street. nobody

jennifer franciotti explains another big name developer also faces charges. >> i'm elated today that justice has been served. >> that was helen holton back in may when a judge dismissed bribery charges cleaning legislative immunity. a grand jury decided new charges -- has cited new charges. it has to do with a $12,500 payment allegedly made to her in exchange for a political survey. she allegedly met with john propofol and suggested they pay and they allegedly agreed -- john paterakis. according to the indictments paterakis wrote a check. according to maryland law, the payment should have gone to holton's finance and to the so it could been properly recorded. >> not additional issues not based on her voting record the other evidence. >> some say it appears this time round prosecutors may have a better case. last year lipscomb -- he is cooperating with the state. case in point, the $6,000 check from paterakis. what remains to be seen is what effect the new charges could have on the mail. jennifer franciotti, wbal tv news. >> if convicted both holton and propofol could face up to a yea

neighbors say the community is no stranger to scares like this. 11 news reporter jennifer franciotti live in the dutch village community with the latest. what can you tell us this morning? >> we know that a carbon monoxide detector didn't help the people who lived there. first, of the nine people taken to area hospitals yesterday, seven were children. carbon monoxide poison from a faulty water heater is what fire officials say sent nine residents of a town house in dutch village to the hospital two adult women and seven children, one as young as 18 months, were sickened by the toxic gas sunday afternoon in the city's northeast side. >> scary. scary. scary. makes me want to move. seriously. >> morton says high levels of the gas were also detected in her house but not as high as her neighbor's. crews replaced the water heater in morton's home as a precaution. but she says this isn't first time something like this has happened. three people from dutch village tore taken to the hospital last month and more from the village in essex, owned by the same company. >> do something about it. i
