especially in south jersey. we're all going to be affected by it, pennsylvania suburbs, philadelphia, new jersey, and delaware. especially new jersey and delaware. i think that's where we'll see our highest amounts. when? now through about 2:00 in the morning we'll see it cranking up across south jersey and delaware. we're already seeing it in southern delaware and along the jersey shore. between 2:00 and the morning and 7:00 that's when philadelphia will see flurries and light snow developing. this is going to be a long lived event, tonight through sunday night. about 18 hours of potential snow. it will be light snow, steady snow. we're not expecting thundersnow and it is going to be a wet snow that comes down. a light snowfall but a wet snow that comes down. slippery travel. we'll see icy roads on the back side of this entire thing. here's a look at what's going on with this right now. you can see the snow already moving through southern delaware, lewis, dover, you have rain. smyrna, rain, wilmington, rain, ev

one in pennsylvania, one in new jersey.e good news in pennsylvania. 476 free and clear of crashes. 76, it's just volume that's delaying your drive time as you go eastbound between the pennsylvania turnpike and center city. a problem between woodhaven and the vine. the drive time 30 minutes. here's what we're dealing with. we're dealing with just minutes ago a disabled vehicle, 95 southbound before girard. i brought this camera up because a couple of minutes, it was still backed up at the betsy ross bridge. there was a lot of delay because of the disabled vehicle. there was a multi-vehicle crash in the area. the last few minutes, most of it has cleared. traffic is running normally. if you are waiting a little on 95, it's a residual delay because of the backup. an issue northbound at 32, the exit for route 561. there was a crash. it is clearing, but you see this is 295 approaching that crash scene. it is still backing up. your drive time as you go northbound on 295 between 16 and route 38, that still is a 35-minute drive. we'

south jersey, jersey shore and southern delaware thing. 1:30 in the morning. still in the same place. but by 5:00 tomorrow morning we've moved into philadelphia, all of south jersey is covered. temperature around freezing, 9:30 tomorrow morning we've covered the suburbs into the lehigh valley. and by about 1:00, tomorrow we're into the poconos. look at this, 5:30 tomorrow night still around freezing, 10:00 tomorrow night, light snowshowers and flurries. by 1:30 sunday morning, we're out of here. let's look at these snow totals where they could be. again, we're going to be looking at around four inches in philadelphia. maybe a little less in south delaware, according to our rapid precision model. we're expecting rain to mix back in tomorrow. if you look at the suburbs, even all the way up into the poconos, several inches of snow possible. this is our other forecast model, the north american model. it's a bit more robust. probably heavy handed, but five inches in philadelphia. not sure we'll see that. somebody certainly could see it in south jersey or delaware.

same deal for new jersey and the shore.hore's a little above freezing so rain/snow mix is possible through the morning hours. more likely it will be consistently snow as we get into the later part of the day as the air temperature itself lowers thanks to the cooling that this snow has, the effect on our entire region. look at the hour by hour model, this is at 9:00 a.m. that snow is coming on in from the south and from the west. so it's spreading across the board here by 9:00 a.m. near philadelphia. we go from 9:00 a.m. through noon, now that snow line extending all the way north through the poconos. but notice the lighter color farther north indicate a lighter snow, little steadier, deeper blues you see farther south over south jersey and southern delaware. this is at 6:30 in the evening. now that snow line is starting to creep out of the poconos, out of the lehigh valley, berks county and chester and breaking over areas like the suburbs, philly and mercer county. this is at 9:30 at night. still a steady snow over south je
