a seat opened up when jim brown resigned to run for mayor. new this morning -- an iowa theater is officially on the national register of historic places. the hardacre theatre in tipton has been around for more than a century. it closed in 2013 but a nonprofit bought it and has been working to fix it up and reopen it. this new historic designation could help move that process forward. a big lift for a bridge project. the black hawk county gaming association board approves a 750- thousand dollar grant. the grant will pay for about half of the project on fourth street in to start in the spring. it includes reconstruction of the concrete railing under the canopy, fixing the walkway, and painting -- among other things. the bridge was built in 1976 - football fans are getting their first look inside a huge project. the new minnesota vikings stadium is almost finished. there are two big scorebards at each end which can be seen from need some finishing touches -- but they say everything will be ready to go for the first big event -- a luke bryan conc
