there's a very interesting survey by nate pursely, a professor at stanford, and john cohen from surveymonkeyhat says fully 40% of the country has lost faith in the democracy, in our institutions. that would be a warning sign for anyone who hopes to govern. whether it's donald trump or hillary clinton. because the compact of the country has always been that we do have faith in our institutions. that we do accept the results of elections. >> but what if it's just a tiny group? so here's a report from the "boston globe." it says in part, they believe what trump has told them over and over that this election is rigged and if he loses it will be because of a massive conspiracy to take him down. if trump doesn't win, some are even openly talking about violent rebellion and assassination, as fantastical and unhinged as that may seem. that's the concern from so many people. even if you have, let's say, 99% of the folks who say, you know what, this is the way we go. if you have 1% of people who want to revolt or are that angry, should we be concerned? >> yeah, i think you always have to be concerned.
