john fisher is apologizing to fans, saying he tried for years to remain in oakland and build a new ballpark, but he's confirming he is not selling the team. today our raj mathai spent time at fisher's peninsula home to talk about the a's past, present, and future. this was fisher's first interview with the bay area media outlet since he took over as the a's owner in 2005. despite the reverse boycott at the coliseum in june, fisher doubled down on not selling the team. he says it wasn't an easy decision, but he feels las vegas is the best for the team.
